This annual event held every December 1st raises awareness about HIV/AIDS, commemorates those who have lost their lives, and celebrates progress in prevention, treatment, and care.
Since January 2018, the Fast-Track Cities initiative aims to end the HIV epidemic by 2030.
Newham fully supports this initiative, striving for zero new HIV infections, zero preventable deaths, and zero HIV-associated stigma by 2030. We ensure every Newham resident living with HIV is supported, and those at risk have access to prevention and testing.
